Flux came to us with a vision to capture the essence of 90s fashion while infusing it with modern sensibilities. Our challenge was to create a digital ecosystem that would resonate with fashion-forward twenty-somethings seeking both nostalgia and innovation.
We began by crafting a versatile brand identity that echoes 90s design elements while remaining sleek and contemporary. This aesthetic formed the foundation for a mobile-first e-commerce platform that combines the ease of modern online shopping with the excitement of 90s mall culture. The site features interactive elements reminiscent of 90s video games, turning product browsing into an engaging, nostalgic experience.
Our social media strategy centered on creating content that feels like it's been plucked straight from a 90s teen magazine, but with a modern twist. We developed a series of filters and stickers that allow users to add Flux-branded 90s-style graphics to their photos, effectively turning customers into brand ambassadors.
To bridge the gap between online and offline experiences, we integrated virtual fitting room technology into the Flux app. This allows customers to "try on" clothes using their smartphone cameras, complete with 90s-inspired digital backdrops and music.
Lastly, we implemented a limited-edition drop system, creating a sense of exclusivity and urgency around new product releases. This system includes countdown timers, waitlists, and virtual queues, all designed with a 90s aesthetic to enhance the shopping experience and drive engagement among Flux's target audience.
